The youth are our future, but what if we can't access them? What if we feel so distant from them and unable to engage them? What will the future hold? Many adults feel this current generation of young people are detached from society. Rebels without a cause. A.N Consultancy questions that belief and posses a further question. So how much guidance and support have we (the adults) given them to fully access society as we know it? We cannot be afraid, fearful or condemning of our youth; regardless of what we see in the media. We cannot allow future generations to become further alienated and distant from the elders and those that may have key information for their development. For neglect of our youth means we have given up on our future, and for many of us, that is not an option. It's not a question of who is to blame, it's a question of what we're going to do?
A.N Consultancy has over 20 years experience working with young people and 12 years of that has been working with so called 'disaffected young people'. Yes we've seen some very disturbing cases, but we've also seen genius and magnificence in what many of the young people do, think and create. AIMS To develop a clearer understanding of 'hard to engage' young people in general, explore social & media literacy and it's impact on engaging, Self Awareness and many other skills in being able to effectively engage young people. FOCUS GROUPS Teaching staff, T.A's, Mentors, Youth workers, Y.O.T's, B.I.P, Housing Teams and wider young people services. We pride ourselves on 100% positive feedback from all sessions thus far, but don't just take our word for it, check out the testimonies here For further services click here |
